Have You Seen a Flock of Geese
Flying Towards a Warmer Land?

Olga Attovna Fedorova

Have you seen a flock of geese high flying
In the sky towards the south warmer land?
In their farewell so loudly crying,
Moving forward in a “V” shape band?

Such a shape can help them moving faster
Every goose gets beneficial free lift
From the front one, which it’s flying after,
Being a part of a proper-ordered drift.

And the benefit of such formation
Is to keep a steady visual contact
With the other birds. The destination
Can be reached much sooner if the route’s exact.

And it makes it easier to keep together,
And to broaden fields of vision, while blind spots
Are avoided in the storming weather;
Birds can fly directly south across, lots.

Isn’t it a model of team working?
Keeping well together through a good contact,
When they help each other, of the others thinking,
While maintaining the main goal intact.
